It’s Friday and I’m in a great mood. Yesterday, three things happened that I want to share with you.
1. My wife returned from 10 days in Argentina. We cooked a vegetarian dinner, opened a bottle of wine, watched the Winter Olympics and tried to make a baby. Maybe I’ve gotten old, but it doesn’t get much better than that.

I have been with my boyfriend for a little over two years now. We live together, plan to have a house in the next year, and get married. But recently an ex-boyfriend got in contact with me that I haven’t seen in about three years.

Today’s a big day for me. I hope it will be for you as well.
No, I didn’t sell the movie rights to my life. I haven’t been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize (yet!). And I still haven’t got little Evans running around Chez Katz.

I’ve been dating a guy for two years now. We currently live on opposite coasts (I’m in graduate school, he’s a professor), but we manage to see each other relatively frequently. We’ve had our share of problems, mainly due to past bad relationship experiences, but also because we have very different ways of relating. I’m very passionate, though I try not to let my emotions have too powerful an effect on my actions, something I learned, in part, from him. He is dispassionate and sometimes almost cold. He’s been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which has obviously had a significant effect on how he interacts with people. He’s very controlled, all the time, and when he does get deeply depressed, he hides it from pretty much everyone (though not me).
