Hi Evan,
I’m a very successful, 37-year-old black/mixed race female who had over $40,000 worth of plastic surgery 4 years ago. I won’t lie: I did it to hopefully land a “top quality” guy. Here’s the problem: It actually worked. The surgeon was very skilled and I ended up a much prettier and younger version of myself. Continue Reading »

Hi Evan,
I’ve been reading your blog for the last few months and enjoying it a lot. Unlike some other dating blogs, it’s very balanced and offers a guy’s perspective, which is in itself unique. I received your newsletter today (“What you should be looking for in a partner,”) and I guess it does hit close to home since it inspired me to write back. Continue Reading »

My amazing intern forwarded me an article last week that she read on CNN with some not-so-surprising new statistics.
In 2007, 22% of couples showed the woman making more money than the man. That’s up from 4% in 1970.
In this recession, 4.7 million men lost their jobs, compared with 2 million women, thus leaving more women to be the primary breadwinners. Continue Reading »

If so, this is a golden opportunity for you.
Let me explain.
Recently, it’s come to my attention that 70,000 people a month frequent this blog. The other night I was recognized by a stranger for the first time in my life. It’s summertime, and yet I’m working harder than ever and don’t even have another hour to take on any new one-on-one clients right now.
So if you’ve been reading this blog for awhile… you’ve passed a few posts along to your friends… you’ve checked out Why He Disappeared…
I want to give you the chance to take your love life to the next level. Continue Reading »

Hi there, I came across your blog seeking advice. I searched the archives and haven’t found my particular situation. I’m going to be 31 in a month, and my biological clock is ticking. Jeez, I really hate writing that, but it’s true. Problem is, I only seem to attract younger guys who don’t want to have children. I tend to hang with a lot of artists and musicians, all in the early stages of their careers. Your articles (and my mother) say that Continue Reading »

Whenever I get new one-on-one dating coaching clients, the first thing I do is pay for professional online dating photos. Believe me, nobody’s more of a profile snob than yours truly, and I’ll be the first to acknowledge that if people don’t find you attractive, it doesn’t matter if you write like Shakespeare. I’ve been dating a guy online for a month, and he brought up the idea of being exclusive, to which I agreed. At what point should I take down my dating profile? If he doesn’t take his down, would that mean that he is trying to keep his options open? I know in your eBook “Why He Disappeared” you talk about mirroring his actions–if Continue Reading »
