45 Minutes of Free Online Dating Advice on The Radio Wednesday
I’m going to be appearing on Matt Titus and Tamsen Fadal’s radio show tomorrow at 12:30pmPST/3:30pmEST. The topic is a shocker: Online Dating
But not just “online dating”; specifically, how to master the very medium at which so many fail.
I will undoubtedly be covering a lot of the stuff from Finding the One Online, so if you were wondering if this material makes sense for you, I’d highly recommend checking out the show.

To that end, I received an email from a 40-year-old Finding the One Online user in Los Angeles. Here’s what he had to report after listening to the CD that gave profile advice:
You have created a monster. I am only on the free sites and not being proactive. Still, after adding making the changes you suggested, I am getting 30 e-mails a day, easily. I can’t keep up.
Here are some of the emails I’ve been getting from women, unsolicited:
This may seem a little weird or creepy, but I mean it solely as a compliment: I’m adding you to my “favorites” listing so that I have something to compare with and something to show my girl-friends and say, “SEE? THIS is the guy you want. Now go find him.” I read your profile and wished we were closer so I could ask you if you wanted to bum around Chinatown for an afternoon or something. As it is, I fear Orange County is simply too far from LA. *boo hiss* Anyway, I really enjoyed your profile and wanted to tell you that there is some strange person out there who approves heartily of you. Hope you have a great day and may you find what/who you are looking for
Best profile I have ever read…
I admire the depth, passion and authenticity reflected in your profile…and would like to know even more about you, if you’re interested.
Your profile is one of the best i have read in on this site. don’t believe in tagging “favorites” or this would be one of a very few.
Your profile is definitely like no other I’ve seen. I’m usually a pretty good judge of people by what they write on their profiles (although I am not as eloquent with words). I am sure that you are as much a gentleman as you say you are. And I bet you are incredibly fun to be around. Awesome!
If you want to start getting emails like this, listen to the radio show and check out Finding The One Online.
I can’t wait to hear YOUR success stories

Predictably, the radio appearance is being rescheduled. Will let you know when it happens. My apologies if you were planning your entire day around the interview…

I just wonder how this guy is ever going to live up to his profile in person.

I’d be a little more than slightly curious to read and SEE the photo’s of any male profile on this planet that get’s “30 emails a day EASILY”. Not that you didn’t help him improve his profile Evan,I’m sure you did. I just don’t believe THAT number.
