Joanna, there is every reason to be optimisic for the longterm. I didn't get help with my profile and in fact I intentionally put in some items that I knew created barriers. Even so, I had a 15% response rate when I contacted people and over several months met 19 women and found a longterm relationship. On top of that I am in my 60s and the pickings are slimmer. It took me four months of meeting people but I found the one (and wrote about it in Internet Safari). I'm sure you will find even more prospects than I did. Just be patient and don't compromise on quality. You are sure to meet the right guy,

This is so good for me right now as I'm just back online dating for two weeks and starting to get really annoyed by men being very keen then disappearing. Gaaaahhh....

Thanks Joanna & Evan.
