As you can probably tell, things are heating up around here.

Once I decided that the best program I could offer you is the one that is comprehensive, interactive and affordable, it’s been all systems go.

In an April blog post called Do Men Owe Women An Apology?, I shared the “Dear Woman” video that was produced by a group called Conscious Men. It featured sensitive, spiritual, new age guys expressing heartwarming, earnest apologetic sentiments about how men have wronged women.

I liked the message and agreed that men can become a whole lot better at relating to women. Many of you also agreed that while you liked the message, you weren’t crazy about the fact that the men delivering the message sounded more like women than men.

YourTango.com, Chemistry.com and glo.com conducted a survey of 22,000 people about attraction.

Both men and women agree that kindness, sense of humor and sexual chemistry are most important when meeting someone for the first time.

The study found that 20% of people think sexual attraction ISN’T necessary to fall in love… but nearly equal percentages of men and women – 86% and 88% – believe that sexual attraction IS necessary to maintain a relationship. And one in seven women believes that sexual attraction can sustain a relationship for a lifetime.

Saw this video on a friend’s Facebook page and wanted to share it with you.

It made me think two things:

1) While we can quibble with the messenger, the message is pretty spot on. Much of it – apart from the appearance stuff – can be read in Why He Disappeared, in fact.

2) I should start making YouTube videos that get 100,000 hits.

What do you think of this guy’s “rules” and are there any with which you disagree?

A friend of mine posted this video on her Facebook page the other day. I watched it from beginning to end and wasn’t sure what to think.

On one hand, the clip is filled with heartwarming, earnest sentiments. Truly, if the world were filled with more men like this, dating would be a breeze.

On the other hand, is this really how we want our men to sound? Which is to say, very much like women…

Personally, I dig the message and agree that men can become a whole lot better at relating to women. I’m just not sure that I would really enjoy hanging out with these kinds of guys myself.

How can I appear to be a great catch when I haven’t had a relationship in such a long time? In my mid 20′s, I realized I was in a disruptive pattern of falling for very wrong men and wisely stopped dating and put the energy into finding myself and being a mum. Thing is that, although I’ve been on a few dates, it’s been years since I’ve had any kind of relationship!  I can’t help but wonder what to say when a guy I like asks about my past relationships.
