		<description>Interesting piece, which I&#039;ll have to parse at length when I have the time...but it leads me to throw out a theory I&#039;ve been kicking around. You say correctly that humor is subjective and that people like funny and original. But I&#039;ve come to believe that men, specifically, say they want funny and original. But when it comes to acting on that statement, most of them don&#039;t. I could be making a vast generalization, but to an extent, this doesn&#039;t matter. Because even if it isn&#039;t true, it &lt;b&gt;feels true&lt;/b&gt;. Which is sometimes worse.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Some of this is my personal baggage, admittedly. But I wonder if there&#039;s anything more to it than my own personal experience.
