My online man once asked for my pic, I sent it later when we had a fight, in a bid to keep him close by. I thimk most women sext cause they think that’s what men want. The downside of this – the same man is threatening to take my ‘pics’ to youtube and other public spaces, coz I noticed that he was dating another woman online – I decided to send all the messages to the other woman – I was angry – he’s such a flirt, he’s 60+ old and is always out for women in their twenties and thirties

I really agree with this. It seems as though people think they are almost one level removed from their actions, because it’s not real life, it’s just a text, right? It’s the same with online personas. Some people will say things online that they would never dream of saying to someone they knew. I guess I’m thinking particuarly of trolls. There’s something about technology that just makes people feel slightly less accountable. And sometimes, when things aren’t going great in your relationship, ‘slightly’ is all it takes.

Maybe I read this wrong, but it seems like this is saying that sexting = cheating. I think sexting (for me that means naughty messages or subtle–or not so subtle–inuendo, not photos) is a fun part of dating and a fun way to ramp things up with a current boyfriend.

I know many couples where the women let themselves go and stopped trying in a sense. It’s not that difficult to put on a little mascara & lip gloss for your man. My boyfriend will tell me I look gorgeous when I’m at home in sweats doing laundry on a lazy Sunday but I’m pretty certain he thinks I look gorgeous when i spend 2 hours getting ready & have my best dress & 4 inch pumps on.

Those women don’t know about you, Evan. They’re trying too hard. Yes men are visual but still. Also, many men gossip more than females and that sexting pic will be forwarded.

I don’t mate poach nor cheat on my mate, period. No sexting!
