What Does It Mean to Be Cool?

loveu-podcast-episode-46

The definition of being cool changes as you get older, but it ultimately arrives at one point: being cool is the dynamic between caring and not caring. Cool people don’t care what others think, but they do care about relationships and the world around them. Join me to explore this interesting idea on this week’s Love U Podcast.

Evan – you nailed it. Best definition of  ‘cool’ ever – the sweet spot between caring and not caring.

But being composed, knowing your own boundaries, losing the self-consciousness about how you appear to others and hence being free of caring what other people think – that’s cool. And combined with care for others and the world – that’s really cool.  Love it.

It starts with you – the relationship with yourself. If you know you, the relationships in your life will mirror back the same – people who love and care about you.
