I hope you’re having a great week and have something fun planned for this weekend. I sure do.
My wife and I are going to a play on Friday night, roller skating with other couples on Saturday night, and a Dodgers baseball game on Sunday. The babysitter is definitely going to be working overtime.
The reason I bring this up is twofold:
First, I had a conversation with my friend Ellie the other day that moved me. Because she hasn’t had a boyfriend in awhile, Ellie claimed she felt “boring”. She says she doesn’t even know what to write in her dating profile because she doesn’t do anything except work and come home. Ellie was particularly upset at how she no longer seemed to have a life ever since she became single.
I’m not sure if you’ve ever felt this way — maybe you still go out three times a week — but I assured Ellie as I’m assuring you: this is not a reflection of your personality; it’s only a reflection of where you’re at right NOW.
You can have the life you want and the partner you want — as long as you keep learning, persevering, and dating.
One of the greatest benefits of having a partner is having someone you can do everything with. My wife is my favorite person in the world — not just because she’s the only woman who accepts me in full, but because we both love to go out and be social. Next weekend is bowling and the U2 concert. The following weekend is Disneyland with my sister and her family. And so on.
This is one of the many joys of being in a healthy, fun, long-term relationship, and one of the many reasons I always encourage you to keep the faith.
You can have the life you want and the partner you want — as long as you keep learning, persevering, and dating. Which brings me to my next point:
Whether you’re going to a Memorial Day barbecue or hanging out at home to relax, you’re reading my blog for one reason: to learn to understand men and find love.
Every time I post a reader question, article or study, I hope you get a valuable takeaway.
But today’s post is extra special because I’m not just giving you one little aha moment; I’ve created an eye-opening webinar presentation called How to Stop Wasting Time on the Wrong Men and Finally Choose Your Husband.
I presented this live on Monday and Wednesday nights, but since so many people couldn’t make those times, I decided to post a replay that you can access at any time.
During this presentation, you’ll learn the one way you can figure out if a man is wrong for you, the one way to figure out if a man is right for you, as well as details about my exciting new program, Love U, which walks you through the process of meeting, understanding and choosing a compatible partner for life.
It’s my Memorial Day gift to you — along with my hope that by this time next year, you’ll be rollerskating, bowling or travelling with your significant other. ïŠ
Have a great weekend!
