1. I can’t find my password for Why He Disappeared. What do I do?

Your password was on the thank you page you visited immediately after purchasing the product. A link to this page was also sent in an email to you with the subject of “How To Download Why He Disappeared.” If for some reason you have lost this link, please send an email to (support “@” evanmarckatz.com), along with your Order ID number sent to you in an email confirmation, and we’ll be glad to assist you.

2. I haven’t received the email that contains the link for my digital product. What do I do?

This email is sent automatically from our order system, and most of the time should be sent in minutes. Depending on the load on the system however, it can sometimes take longer. If you have not received an email with the subject “Downloading your digital product” within 1 hour of purchasing your product, please check your spam and junk mail folders.

If you still don’t see this email, please contact support@evanmarckatz.com, and include your Order ID number, which you can find on your order receipt. Please have the subject of your email read “Never received my downloading digital product email” to help expedite the process.

3. How do I download my eBook to my computer?

You need to download the eBook from the thank you page you visited immediately after purchasing the product. A link to this page was also sent in an email to you with the subject of “How To Download Why He Disappeared.” (If for some reason you have lost this link, please send an email to (support “@” evanmarckatz.com), along with your Order ID number sent to you in an email confirmation, and we’ll be glad to assist you.)

Once you are on the thank you page, scroll down to the product you want to save to your computer and do the following:

  • Download the eBook by RIGHT CLICKING on the link on the thank you page.
  • After you RIGHT CLICK on the link, you’ll be given a menu of options to choose from. Look at the list below to find which option you should select, depending on the Browser you are using.
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer: Select “Save Target As…” In the new window that opens, select your Desktop and then hit “Save
    • Mozilla Firefox: Select “Save Link As…” In the new window that opens, select your Desktop and then hit “Save
    • Safari: Select “Download Linked File” In the new window that opens, select your Desktop and then hit “Save
    • Google Chrome: Select “Save Link As…” In the new window that opens, select your Desktop and then hit “Save
  • Minimize your broswer window, and navigate to your desktop where you saved your file, for example “Why-He-Disappeared-Evan-Marc-Katz.pdf” is located. Open this file by double clicking on it.
  • When you open the file you’ll be prompted for the password you saved from the thank you page. Please copy and paste your unique password into the box.Password prompt
  • After you’ve entered your password and hit “OK” Adobe Acrobat Reader will open, and you should see the cover to your eBook.

You’ll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read this file, which you can get for FREE by visiting www.adobe.com.

4. How do I download the audio to my computer?

You need to download the audio from the thank you page you visited immediately after purchasing the product. A link to this page was also sent in an email to you with the subject of “How To Download Why He Disappeared.” (If for some reason you have lost this link, please send an email to (support “@” evanmarckatz.com), along with your Order ID number sent to you in an email confirmation, and we’ll be glad to assist you.)

Once you are on the thank you page, scroll down to the audio you want to save to your computer and do the following:

    • Download your audio by RIGHT CLICKING on the link on the thank you page.
    • After you RIGHT CLICK on the link, you’ll be given a menu of options to choose from. Look at the list below to find which option you should select, depending on the Browser you are using.

5. Does the audio link also expire in 24 hours?

No, the only link that expires is the link to download the eBook. If you’ve bookmarked the bonuses page, you can download the audio at any time. The only reason we recommend you do it now is because it’s a lot of material, and you’re less likely to come back to do it at a later date.

6. How do I add the audio to my iTunes and iPod?

To add audio file to your iTunes, all you need to do is double click on the file. iTunes will open and automatically add the file to your music library. You can also do the following:

      • Open iTunes. While in iTunes select “File” and then “Add To Library” to add the audio to your library.
      • Find the file you just saved on your desktop, for example it could be called “Why He Disappeared – Evan Marc Katz.m4a” and select “Choose”
      • The audio will be imported into your music library, and next time you synch your iPod you’ll have this track on your device so you can listen to it on the go!

If you don’t see your audio, you might need to adjust the default view in iTunes. For older mp3′s, you’ll need to be in “List view” to see them. To do this select “View” from the menu, and then select “As List…” You should now be able to find the audio file. A quick way to check to see if you’re in “List View” is by looking just to the right of the player window, and check to make sure the one on the left is selected:

7. Is the book fully electronic and downloadable?

Yes.

8. Is there any way to change my password so it is easier to remember?

Unfortunately, the password is automatically created with your order so we are unable to change it. We recommend saving the password in a Word document, or an easily accessible file so you can simply copy and paste it when you want to access the book.

9. Is there a way to convert the eBook to a Kindle format?

If your Kindle can accommodate Adobe PDFs and you can use the keyboard to put in the password, it should work. However, we don’t offer customer support for 3rd party applications like Kindles or iPads.

10. Is this site secure to order from?

Yes. When you provide us with any personal information including your name, address, e-mail and credit card number, it is processed over a secure connection on secure servers. We use Secure Socket Layers (SSL) to encrypt all information you provide before sending it to our servers. SSL is the industry standard and the best software available for secure ecommerce transactions.

11. I’m getting a decryption error when I try to open one of your eBooks. What do I do?

You need to have at least version 6.0 of Adobe’s Acrobat Reader on your computer in order to open your eBook. Now, if you don’t already have at least version 6.0 of the Acrobat Reader, you can get it for free by going to www.adobe.com. Just go to the website and download the latest version that works with your operating system. Install the software. Then click on the file and it should open automatically for you in Adobe. You’ll need your password that was given to you when you ordered.

13. What is the shipping time and when will I receive my package?

There is no shipping for downloadable eBooks or audio. If you got a physical softcover Why He Disappeared book or the Finding the One Online CD series, your order within the US should arrive within 2-4 business days. However, we do ask that you allow at least two weeks from the date of order before inquiring.

Most international shipments ship via USPS Global Priority Mail and we are unable to obtain tracking information. However, most orders arrive within 7 – 12 days, give or take. If there happens to be a problem with the receipt of your order please feel free to email us after 2 weeks.

For downloadable products like my eBooks, you will receive instant access so you can start reading them within 5 minutes.

14. I would like to have my package expedited or shipped next day. How can I do this?

Yes! When you go through the checkout process you will see the option for ‘Overnight Delivery: 1 – 2 Business Days’ on the checkout form under shipping options.

Group coaching prices are listed on the website, while one-on-one coaching prices are available only after filling out an application on my website and scheduling a phone consultation.

I only work with a handful of private clients at a time and request a minimum commitment of at least one month. Most clients stay for 2 or 3 months before they reach their intended goal. I don’t do single sessions, because all of my hours are already booked with regular clients.

20. What will it say on my credit card statement?

You will receive a charge from E-Cyrano.com, Inc. or EvanMarcKatz.com on your credit card statement.

21. How many pages is the Why He Disappeared eBook? What size is the file?

The Why He Disappeared eBook is 133 pages and 7mb in the .PDF version. You can read it online or print it up and highlight it as you see fit.

22. Will your material work for men? How about same sex relationships?

All of my online dating products (E-Cyrano, Finding the One Online) are unisex and effective for both men and women, straight and gay.

Why He Disappeared is written for people who date men – and while it’s not specifically tailored towards same sex couples, many of the theories and techniques that are taught are universal.

I would suggest that you browse through the list of products I have to see if any of the individual products might apply to your current need or situation. If you want to try one out and it DOESN’T meet your needs for whatever reason, please let me know.

Finally, dating coaching is also extremely effective for men and women, straight or gay. I only put “smart, strong, successful women” on my site in 2010. Previously, 25-30% of my clients were men.

23. Can I read your eBooks on my iPod/iPad/iPhone?

Yes! Not only are there a variety of applications* available through the iTunes Store that allow eBooks to be read on your iPod/iPad/iPhone, but if you are running the latest version of iOS and have iBooks you can view the pdf easily without downloading anything extra. Here are the steps you need to follow:

      • Visit the download page for your product
      • Click on the link to download the eBook
      • Right when the link is opening, you’ll see a button appear that says “Open in iBooks”. Click on this button, but do it quickly as this button won’t appear forever (if the button disappears before you click on it, just re-open the link)
      • Once the pdf has downloaded, it will appear in the iBook application You will be prompted for the password to open. Put in your password and enjoy the book!
      • The book will be saved in iBooks in the PDF collection for viewing later whenever you need.

*When choosing an application, please be sure to select one that reads password protected PDF eBooks (not all do). Please remember, I do NOT provide technical support for third-party applications. Any questions you may have regarding the application you have chosen will need to be submitted directly to their technical support department.

24. Can I read your eBooks on my Kindle?

Yes, you will find two ways to get this material on your Kindle device below:

Built-in PDF Reader for Kindle (Free 3G) and Kindle (U.S. Wireless) devices

Your Kindle can now display PDF documents without losing the formatting of the original file. Send PDF documents directly to your Kindle (via your @Kindle address) or drag and drop PDF files from your computer to your Kindle (when connected via USB). You can also magnify PDFs by viewing them in landscape mode.

Some features are not currently supported, including annotations and Text-to-Speech. The only Kindle devices supported for PDFs are the Kindle and Kindle DX.

Option to Convert PDF Files to Kindle Format

If you prefer to have your personal PDF documents converted to the Kindle format so you can take advantage of Kindle functionality such as variable font size, annotation, Text-to-Speech, etc., type “Convert” in the subject of the e-mail when you submit your personal document to your @kindle.com address.

Image-heavy PDF files are presented in landscape orientation and don’t work with devices that have auto-rotation, so those will be delivered in the Kindle format.

25. Is the eBook available in print?

Yes, for an additional cost of $14.97 + shipping, you can have a softcover, 6X9 print version of Why He Disappeared delivered directly to your house. It is not currently available on Amazon or Barnes & Noble. When you go through the checkout process for the product you will see the option to have the hard copy sent to you. At this time, purchasing only the softcover version without the eBook/audio is not available.

26. Why are Evan’s eBooks not sold in stores?

I have done the Borders book thing before with I Can’t Believe I’m Buying This Book – A Common sense Guide to Successful Internet Dating and Why You’re Still Single – Things Your Friends Would Tell You If You Promised Not to Get Mad.
But truthfully, books in bookstores come and go in a matter of months, and I want you to be able to access this information for as long as men keep confounding you.

Plus, by allowing you to download the book immediately, you don’t have to worry about shipping and handling and delivery time. It’s fast, it’s easy, and it gets you on track to take action on your love life as soon as you really need to: right now!
